Comments | Bo Ya was one of the most famous Chinese guqin players of the antiquity. The legend says that nobody except his friend Ziqi understood how he described the mountains and streams with his music. After Ziqi's death, Bo Ya was so sad that he broke his instrument and he never played it again. This work was commissioned by the harpist Esther Pinyol, to whom it is dedicated.
